I’ve seen some blogs that post about parties and alway in the pictures of the parties, you see photo frames, as part of the decoration, with the menu or with some catchy phrases that goes in accordance to the party theme. After know that I wanted one for my birthday (next month).
He visto en algunos blogs que postean sobre fiestas y siempre en las fotos de las fiestas puedes ver portaretratos, como parte de la decoración, con el menú impreso o con frases pegajosas que van acorde al tema de la fiesta. Despues de saber esto quise tener uno para mi cumpleaños (el próximo mes).

Materials
- Photo frame (wood)
- Gold dust
- 2 brushes
- Decoupage glue (mod podge)
Materiales
- Portaretrato de madera
- Polvo de oro
- 2 pinceles
- Pegamento para decoupage
Note/ Nota: Why I didn’t bought a gold paint spay? / ¿Por qué no compre un spray de pintura dorado?
Because I just wanted to paint this photo frame and nothing else and I thought that spend almost 10 US in a spray paint for just one thing was too much. So I bought this gold dust (I loveeeed it) for just 1 US
Porque solo quería pintar este postaretrato y nada más y pensé que gastar casí 20.000 COP en una pintura de spray para una sola cosa era demasiado. Así que compre este polvo de oro ( Lo amé) por casi 2.000 COP
Instructions / Instrucciones
1.In a plastic container pour the decoupage glue ( if we talk in kithchen language is like 1 1/2 tablespoon) and add the gold dust (1 teaspoon). Blend it
1. En un contenedor plástico vierte el pegamento (si hablamos en lenguaje de cocina es como 1 1/2 cuchara) y agrega el polvo de oro (1 cuchara dulcera). Mezclalo
2. Paint the photo frame with the mixture
2. Pinta el portaretrato con la mezcla
3. Sprinkle the dust over the photo frame
3. Espolvorea el polvo de oro sobre el portaretrato
4. With another brush (don’t use the one that have glue) start to spread the dust all over the photo frame
4. Con otro pincel (no uses el que ya tiene pegamento) comienza a esparcir el polvo sobre todo el portaretrato
5. After you finish spreading the dust; with the remaining “glue+dust” mixture, paint another layer over the photo frame to seal it
5. Después de terminar de espacir el polvo; con el restante de la mezcla de pegamento y polvo de oro, pinta otra capa sobre el portaretrato para sellarlo.
